Safety disclaimer
We build planning tools. We can't build the emergency response, verify strangers, or make decisions for you — here's exactly where our responsibility ends and yours begins.
Not an emergency service
Survival Squads does not contact 911, dispatchers, or any first responder, and it cannot guarantee that a message, alert, or notification will be delivered, delivered on time, or seen. Cell networks, internet access, and power all fail in exactly the situations this app is meant to help you plan for.
In any emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number and follow the instructions of official emergency management authorities.
Weather and alert data
Weather conditions and hazard alerts are pulled from third-party and U.S. National Weather Service sources. That data can be delayed, incomplete, mis-geocoded, or temporarily unavailable, and it is displayed for convenience only. It is not an official warning channel and must never be your only source. Official government warnings always take precedence.
General information, not professional advice
Field guides, checklists, the supply calculator, readiness scores, gap analysis, courses, certifications, and any AI-assisted suggestions are general educational information. They are not medical, legal, financial, insurance, engineering, nutritional, or tactical advice, and they do not create a professional relationship.
The supply calculator produces rough estimates from the inputs you provide. Real needs vary with health conditions, age, pregnancy, climate, activity level, medication, and local hazards. Consult qualified professionals — a physician, attorney, licensed instructor, or your local emergency management office — before relying on any plan.
Training, gear and hazardous activities
Preparedness activities carry real risk: fire and stove use, water treatment, food preservation, power and fuel storage, generators, chainsaws and cutting tools, climbing, wilderness travel, radio operation, first aid, and the lawful ownership and handling of firearms and ammunition. Practice only within your training, use proper protective equipment, and follow every applicable federal, state, and local law and permit requirement.
You assume all risk for activities you undertake based on anything you read or plan here.
User-provided content is unverified
Profiles, skills, certifications, gear inventories, squad plans, forum posts, and comments are created by users. We do not verify identity, credentials, licenses, or claims, and we do not run background checks. Content posted by other members is their opinion and responsibility, not ours.
Use ordinary caution when connecting with people: verify claims yourself, meet in public first, and share sensitive details such as addresses, cache locations, or radio frequencies only with people you actually trust.
Offline downloads go stale
Downloaded squad packets, guides, and checklists are snapshots saved to your own device. They do not update themselves, and once downloaded their security is your responsibility. Re-download before you rely on details such as meeting points or communications plans.
Forward-looking business statements
Materials in the investor center — including market sizing, revenue models, and financial projections — are forward-looking estimates based on assumptions that may prove wrong. They are for information only, are not audited, and are not an offer to sell or a solicitation to buy any security. Nothing there is investment advice.
Affiliates and partners
We may earn a commission or receive consideration from courses, instructors, or gear partners we link to. That never changes the safety information we publish, and we do not warrant third-party products, services, or instruction.
Limits of liability
Use of the Service is subject to the warranty disclaimer and limitation of liability in our terms of service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Service.
